Why We Started
Many students face barriers that are invisible to their classmates and teachers.
Something as simple as running out of deodorant, toothpaste, soap, menstrual products, or laundry detergent can impact attendance, confidence, participation, and academic success.
Dunamis Gives was created to remove those barriers by connecting students with essential products through trusted school and community partners.
Our goal is simple: to help students focus on learning rather than survival.

Our Approach
Unlike traditional giveaway events, Dunamis Gives works directly with schools and student-serving organizations.
Counselors, nurses, coaches, and social workers identify students with needs, and products are distributed discreetly through existing trusted relationships.
This dignity-centered approach allows support to reach students quickly, privately, and consistently.
Meet Our Founder
Dunamis Gives was founded by Deidre Somdah, a U.S. Army veteran and Metro Atlanta nonprofit leader committed to helping students overcome barriers to success.
After seeing how often schools struggle to meet students' basic hygiene needs, she created Dunamis Gives to provide practical solutions that restore dignity and support educational success.
