STUDENT HYGIENE EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM
The Student Hygiene Empowerment Program addresses hygiene poverty as a barrier to educational access in Metro Atlanta. Through partnerships with K-12 schools and universities, we provide students with free Empowerment Supplies including:
Personal Hygiene:
· Soap, body wash, deodorant
· Toothpaste, toothbrushes, floss
· Lotion, hand soap
· Feminine hygiene products (tampons, pads, wipes)
Hair Care:
· Culturally relevant products for various hair textures
· Shampoo, conditioner, edge control
· Hair accessories
Household Essentials:
· Laundry detergent, fabric softener
· Dish soap, cleaning supplies
· Paper products
Clothing Basics:
· Socks, underwear, t-shirts
How It Works
We deliver bulk supplies to school staff who use distribution methods tailored to their school culture:
· Self-service tables where students select items they need
· Dedicated shopping rooms where students browse and choose products
· Targeted distribution through counselor offices for identified students
All methods prioritize student dignity, eliminate barriers to access, and allow students to receive what they and their families actually need.
Who We Serve
We serve students experiencing economic hardship, housing instability, or family crisis—including young people managing households independently or raising siblings. By removing hygiene-related barriers, we help students attend school with confidence and focus on education rather than survival.
Each student receives essential supplies at no cost.
